Mosaic Plot Demonstration

Mosaic plots are useful for visualizing categorical data. They encode in area the frequencies with which certain features appear together.

Try splitting the mosaic below, choose a feature (hair color, eye color, sex) and a direction to split on (vertical or horizontal). You are not permitted to split on one feature multiple times.

Keep in mind that when depicting a relationship between features you split upon the dependent variable last. For example, if we wanted to look at the proportions of hair color (dependent variable) for the sexes (independent variable) we could first select Sex Vertical and then Hair Horizontal.
